Police arrested a Johnson City woman Wednesday with vandalizing a vehicle parked at a local Walmart.

Windy M. Buckingham, 40, 381 Possum Hollow Road, admitted to police that she had vandalizing the vehicle on July 19 by carving an epithet into the paint with a screwdriver, police said in a news release.

The incident occurred at the Walmart on Browns Mill Road, and Buckingham was developed as a suspect in the course of the investigation, police said.

She was charged with one count of vandalism over $500. She was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Thursday.
