A Watauga woman was charged with theft over $1,000 after failing to make payments on property she got from a Johnson City rental business, police said in a news release.
Johnson City police said Heather N. Guinn, 28, 2043 Bristol Hwy., had rented property from the business on June 15. Police said several unsuccessful attempts were made to locate Guinn and secure the property.
Guinn was arrested after being released from the Carter County Jail. She was then taken to Johnson City where she was served with outstanding warrants.
She was taken to the Washington County Detention Center where she was being held on $10,000 bond.
Her arraignment was set for today in Washington County General Sessions Court.
