Knoxville man charged with selling crack in Johnson City

Johnson City police arrested a 29-year-old Knoxville man Thursday on a charge that he been selling crack locally.
Dontae P. Smith, aka Adontae Dobson, 709 Polk Ave., Knoxville, was served with a grand jury indictment for multiple sales of crack cocaine.
Police said Smith was arrested at a Marathon gas station in Greene County with help from 3rd Judicial District Drug Task Force agents.
Police said Smith was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $125,000 bond. A Criminal Court date was pending.
