Detroit man arrested in pill trafficking investigation in Johnson City

Johnson City police on Thursday arrested a Detroit, Mich., man on drug charges following an investigation into prescription pill trafficking coming from Detroit into Johnson City.
Kenneth "Peewee" Young, 31, was arrested after vice detectives served a search warrant at a west Johnson City apartment being used to distribute the pills. Detectives located oxycodone pills with a street value estimated at more than $6,000, police said.
Young was charged with possession of schedule II Drugs with Intent to distribute and maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are kept or sold.
He was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $20,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance today.
