Police: Meth labs found at Kingsport motel

KINGSPORT — Two people are in police custody following the discovery of a methamphetamine operation at a Kingsport motel, forcing the quarantine of four rooms.

Shortly before 1 p.m. Kingsport police and fire department personnel descended on West Side Inn, 1017 West Stone Drive. KPD Spokesperson Officer Tom Patton says multiple one pot meth labs were found at the scene

As of 1:30 p.m. four rooms had been quarantined. Patton said two people were also in custody.
