ETSU professor to speak about Kennedy assassination at Johnson City library

“Jack Kennedy, the Assassination, and America: A Lecture on President Kennedy, His Life, His Career, and the Crime of the Century” will be presented Thursday, Nov. 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the Johnson City Public Library, 100 W. Millard St.

In this free public talk, Dr. Daryl Carter of East Tennessee State University will discuss Kennedy’s career in Congress, his presidency and his death, including aspects and details of various theories revolving around the assassination.

Carter is an assistant professor and graduate coordinator in the ETSU Department of History.
