Notice to boil water in Bluff City lifted, TDEC says water is safe to drink

BLUFF CITY – Bluff City residents can now go back to drinking their water from the tap, after a drinking water warning was lifted Wednesday afternoon, according to a Bluff City news release.

According to the release the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation has given Bluff City Water System (Bluff City Water Works) the go ahead to lift the boil water notice that was activated Tuesday.

TDEC said the water tests have come back normal and that the water is safe to drink.
