The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Hughes, 1506 Woodland Ave., Johnson City.
She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis E. Hawkins, Johnson City; and Mrs. Sarah W. Hughes, Johnson City.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph J. Montileone, 9314 Chesapeake Drive, Brentwood.
He is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Glennon D. Geile; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph J. Montileone.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of ivory Lovelle taffeta trimmed with handmade organza rosettes beaded with miniature seed pearls and Swarovski crystals, featuring an asymmetrical bodice with a sweetheart neckline and an A-line ball gown skirt that draped into a full train.
Matron of honor was Whitney Hughes Ricker, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ann Louise Ellis, cousin of the bride; Haley Ellis, cousin of the bride; McKenzie Calhoun; Amy Holbrook Turk; Leslie Lahti Thompson and Holly Clark.
Anthony Michael Montileone, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Stone, Andrew Whittenburg, Eric Smetana, David Scarpace, Stewart Easter and Kyle Lovell.

The couple were married on May 12, 1962, in Berwyn, Ill., by the Rev. Milan Swasko.
Mr. Serviente is a retired printer.
Mrs. Serviente is the former Arlene Henderson. She is a retired executive secretary.
