She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Slack, Knoxville; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert W. Smith.
Her fiancé is a 2003 graduate of Science Hill High School; and he attended Tri-Cities Christian School, where he was a member of the 2002 State Championship soccer team. He is employed by Dick’s Sporting Goods, Asheville, as an FFL.
He is a grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Duane C. Budd; Mr. and Mrs. James Arnold; and Mr. and Mrs. James Hodge, Johnson City.

Robert and Priscilla Raver celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a private celebration with family and friends at their home.
The couple were married on March 28, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio, by The Rev. Edward K. Richey.
Mr. Raver is retired as an electrician for General Electric and is former owner of Sportsman’s Dock.
Mrs. Raver is the former Priscilla Leonard. She is a retired registered nurse and is former owner of Sportsman’s Dock.

Mr.and Mrs. Jones
Rex and Reba Jones will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, April 14, 2012, at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Hales Ruritan building.
The couple were married on April 7, 1962, at Eden United Methodist Church bythe Rev. Worley Fleenor.
Mr. Jones served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Arcadia Graphics after 37 years of service.
Mrs. Jones is the former Reba Ray. She retired from Sears and Citi.
The couple have three children, Gregory Jones and wife Cindy of Melbourne, Fla., Melissa Ray and husband Gary of Alpharetta, Ga., and Michelle Crain and husband Roger of Jonesborough; and one grandchild, Corey Crain.
