Mr. and Mrs. Dan Shockley, 130 Renee Drive, Johnson City, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday, May 6, 2012, at home.
The couple were married on May 6, 1952, in Johnson City by Justice of the Peace Ira Shoun.
Mr. Shockley retired from Montgomery Ward.
Mrs. Shockley is the former Olivene Graybeal. She is a homemaker.
The couple have six children, Jane of Jonesborough, David, Bobby and Gary of Johnson City, Keath of Limestone, and Randy, deceased; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
