Hannah Shaw and Chad Allen Hylton were married Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Edgefield United Methodist Church, Piney Flats.
Pastor Ricky Clowers officiated the 6 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by Matt Smith.
The bride is a daughter of Elaine Shaw, Johnson City, and Tim Shaw, Johnson City.
She is a granddaughter of the late Dorothy Odom and the late Jason Odom.
The groom is a son of the late Elizabeth Hyatt and the late Albert Hyatt.
Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her brother, Elliot Shaw, the bride wore a gown of chiffon featuring a sweetheart neckline and beaded empire waist and a brooch.
Maid of honor was Lydia Shaw, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Dustin King Daniels and Misty Cassidy.
Flower girl was Kaley Silvers.
Ring bearer was Brendan Roberts.
Bobby Wilson served as best man. Groomsmen were Tim Peters and Mark Cassidy.
Program attendant was Elizabeth Carr. Unity candle attendant was Laura Smith.
Following a reception at the Edgefield Life Center, the couple took a wedding cruise to the Bahamas.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph C. Friday, Gray, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Friday, Sept. 2, 2011.
The couple were married on Sept. 2, 1951, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Gray, by the Rev. Coy A. Riddle.
The couple are still members at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Friday retired from Dairyman’s Inc. after 46 years of service as a supervisor.
Mrs. Friday is the former Nila M. Cash. She is retired from Tennessee Eastman Co.
The couple have two children, Denny Friday, Gray, and the late David Friday; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Daniel Boone High School; and is a student at East Tennessee State University, where she is pursuing a degree in interdisciplinary studies, K-6 education. She is employed by the Homework Club and Johnson City Schools as a substitute teacher.
Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of Daniel Boone High School. He is employed by Tucker Drywall and FedEx.
The couple are involved in the children’s program at Harmony Baptist Church.

Virdan B. and Elizabeth G. Renfro, 136 Tilson Road, Limestone, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, with a drop-in celebration beginning at 2 p.m. at their residence.
The couple were married on Sept. 1, 1961.
Mr. Renfro retired from Eastman Chemical Company.
Mrs. Renfro is a mother and homemaker.
The couple have five children, Jeff Renfro and wife Val, Atlanta; Connie Werner, Kingsport; Dedria Renfro, Limestone; Melissa Renfro, Limestone; and Maria Renfro, Chattanooga. They also have five grandchildren.
