The bride-elect is a daughter of Joey and Penny Humphreys, 3705 E. Mountain View Road; and Angela Humphreys, Gray. She is a 2005 graduate of Daniel Boone High School.
She is a granddaughter of Keeva Ann and David Humphreys, Johnson City; Joan Davis, Jonesborough; the late Stewart Davis; and the late Sharon Roberts.
Her fiancé is a son of Elizabeth and Craig Treadway, 1857 Highway 81 S., Jonesborough; and James Smith, Johnson City. He is a 2005 graduate of David Crockett High School.
He is a grandson of the late Patricia and Jim Smith, Johnson City; Ruth Greer, Johnson City; Gene and Faye Treadway, Jonesborough; and Jane and Ken Oaks, Jonesborough.
The couple plan a private wedding for 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren, Jonesborough.
Mr. and Mrs. Littleton
Mr. and Mrs. Carol Gene Littleton, 155 Littleton Road, Jonesborough, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011.
The couple were married on Aug. 16, 1961, at the home of the Rev. John Moody in the Oak Hill Community, Jonesborough.
Mr. Littleton is employed by Washington County School System.
Mrs. Littleton is the former Helen Jean Street. She is a former employee of Johnson City Medical Center and McLeod Cancer & Blood Center of East Tennessee.
The couple have four children, Patrick Littleton, Johnson City; Jamie Littleton and wife Sheila of Jonesborough; Darren Littleton and wife Michelle of Jonesborough; and Karen Hampton and husband Doug of Jones-borough. They have eight grandchildren.

The bride-elect is the daughter of William and Brenda Masch, Virginia Beach, Va.
She is a 2006 graduate of Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, Va.; and a 2011 graduate of East Tennessee State University where she received a bachelor of science degree in biology and a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing management. She was a decorated goalkeeper for the ETSU women’s soccer team.
She is the granddaughter of Arthur and Vivian Masch of Saranac, Mich.; Marie White, Ionia, Mich.; and the late Pirl White.
Her fiance is the son of Phillip and Letha Wilson, Erwin.
He is a 2006 graduate of Unicoi County High School and a 2011 graduate of East Tennessee State University where he received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry ACS with a business minor.
He is employed at Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport.
He is the grandson of JoAnn Wilson, Erwin; the late Ward G. Wilson; Judy Sparks, Erwin; and the late Jim Sparks.
The couple plan an outdoor ceremony for 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, in the mountains of Erwin.
Mr. and Mrs. Barker
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Barker of Erwin will celebrate their 50th anniversary Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, with a reception at 7 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Erwin.
The couple was married on Aug. 26, 1961, at Cherry Grove Baptist Church in Jonesborough by the Rev. Luther Swanner.
Mr. Barker retired from Nuclear Fuel Services with 23 years of service.
Mrs. Barker is the former Thelma “Peggy” Keplinger. She worked for Dr. Colinger for 34 years.
The couple has three daughters, Lori and Kevin Sparks, Knoxville; Donna and Curtis Engle, Erwin; and Tina and Sheldon Roark, Erwin; and four grandchildren, Alicia and Andrea Engle, Erwin, and Chelsea and Andrew Sparks, Knoxville.
The celebration is open to family and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Bryant
Glen and Brenda Bryant of Jonesborough celebrated their first wedding anniversary with a weekend in Gatlinburg.
The couple were married July 31, 2010, in an outdoor Western ceremony at the groom’s home by Greg Matherley, commissioner.
Mr. Bryant is employed by Mountain States Health Alliance.
Mrs. Bryant is the former Brenda Phillips. She works for the Washington County Sherriff’s Office.
