Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Edward Poarch, 2319 Oakland Ave., Johnson City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, May 5, 2012.
The couple were married on May 5, 1962, in Watauga by the Rev. Holt Harrell.
Mr. Poarch is owner of Fast Delivery Service.
Mrs. Poarch is the former Opal Waldrop. She is librarian assistant at Jonesborough Elementary School.
