Mr. and Mrs. Renfro
Virdan B. and Elizabeth G. Renfro, 136 Tilson Road, Limestone, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, with a drop-in celebration beginning at 2 p.m. at their residence.
The couple were married on Sept. 1, 1961.
Mr. Renfro retired from Eastman Chemical Company.
Mrs. Renfro is a mother and homemaker.
The couple have five children, Jeff Renfro and wife Val, Atlanta; Connie Werner, Kingsport; Dedria Renfro, Limestone; Melissa Renfro, Limestone; and Maria Renfro, Chattanooga. They also have five grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome to stop by and share in the celebration.

Her fiancé is a graduate of University High School; and a graduate of East Tennessee State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in public health administration. He is employed by Mountain States Health Alliance as community benefits manager.
He is a grandson of the late Frank and Violet Mijeski; the late Gil Crawford; and the late Jane Kassel.
The couple plan a private wedding for 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at the Johnson City Country Club.

Her fiancé is a 1998 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and a 2002 graduate of Tennessee Tech University.

Mr. and Mrs. Bailey
Tommy and Linda Bailey, 1185 Bailey Bridge Road, Limestone, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The couple were married on Aug. 27, 1961, at Embreeville United Methodist Church in Jonesborough.
Mr. Bailey worked for many years at Thorp & Company in Johnson City and retired from the U.S. Flea Market Mall were he was manager.
Mrs. Bailey is the former Linda White. She is a homemaker and retired from the U.S. Flea Market Mall where she ran The Fruit Tree.
The couple have two children, Terry Bailey and wife Debbie of Jonesborough, and Tonya Ward and husband Jim of Limestone; and four grandchildren, T.J., Kelsey, Brittany and Erin.
