Bill and Gail Rambo, 3845 Greenwood Drive, Jones-borough, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an extended-stay vacation in Cape Coral, Fla.
The couple were married on Feb. 2, 1962, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Limestone, by the late Rev. Paul M. Broyles.
Mr. Rambo retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Mrs. Rambo is the former Patricia Gail McCracken. She retired from Sears.
The couple have two children, Art Rambo and wife Dawn, and Brad Rambo and wife Regina, all of Jonesborough; and five grandchildren, Rachael, Katie, Jake, Gabrielle and Josh Rambo.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene D. Russell, 306 Stockyard Road, Telford, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, March 9, 2012.
The couple were married on March 9, 1962.
Mr. Russell retired from Arcata Graphics after 25 years of service and was later employed by the Town of Jonesborough as a building inspector. During this time, he also worked as a residential building contractor before retiring again.
Mrs. Russell is the former Ruby K. McKee. She is a retired real estate affiliate broker.
The couple have two children, Steve Russell, Jonesborough, and David Russell, Telford; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Aja Black and Joseph LaDue were married Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at Maple Lane Farm, Johnson City.
Pastor Kent Schaaf officiated the 5:30 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by Linda Brimer, vocalist.
The bride is a daughter of Rick and Dianne Garland, Greeneville.
She is a granddaughter of Helen Fields Black, Haughton, La.; and the late Chief Master Sgt. Kenneth Austin Black.
The groom is a son of Pamela LaDue-Booth, Bristol.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless ivory Maggie Sottero “Karena Royale” gown featuring Alençon lace that glittered.
Matron of honor was KK Dillon-Gentry.
Maid of honor was Barbie Brannon.
Bridesmaids were Linda Brimer, Abby Thomas, Kari Armstrong and Anna Ricciardi.
Flower girls were Faith LaDue, niece of the groom, and Morgan Anderson, niece of the bride.
Ring bearer was Gage LaDue, nephew of the groom.
Vince LaDue, brother of the groom, and Matthew Snellings served as best men.
Groomsmen were Garrett Vicars, Erik Watson, Andrew Dyer and Brian McNew.
Honorary groomsman was Tyrus Stewart.
Ushers were Michael Nelson, Michael Francis, Sean Fox and Justin Coffey.
Bride’s book attendants were Jenny Dyer and Amanda Davenport.
Following a reception at Maple Lane Farm, the couple took a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C.

He is a grandson of Reynold and Mary Ann Lemp, Winter Garden, Fla.; and Collie and Effie Jo Turner, Winter Garden, Fla.
