Mr. and Mrs. Gale L. Gray, 306 E. Main St., Jonesborough, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, March 11, 2012, at a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, Jonesborough.
The couple were married on March 10, 1962, at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, Jonesborough, by the Rev. Frank Lethcoe.
Mr. Gray retired from Eastman and is employed part-time at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home, Jonesborough.
Mrs. Gray is the former Lula Hammitt. She is a registered nurse and is employed by Mountain States Health Alliance as coordinator of the parish nurse program.
The couple have two children, Richard Gray and Jeff Gray, both of Gray; and six grandchildren.
The celebration is open to family and friends.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory, floor-length dress of embroidered lace featuring a sweetheart neckline and a skirt that extended into a chapel-length train.
Maid of honor was Jamie Ewing.
Bridesmaids were Anna Sutton; Emily Rice, sister of the bride; Megan Richardson and Katie Joudon.
Isaac Gordon served as best man.
Groomsmen were Daniel Hackett, Jason Stanko, Bryan Cantfil and James Slaton.

Following a reception at Vic’s on the River, the couple took a wedding trip to Europe.
