Mark and Linda Eades, Johnson City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jordan Rebecca,
to Patrick Daniel Brown, son of Sharon Brown, Knoxville, and Tom Brown, Simpsonville, S.C.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Science Hill High School, and is a 2013 honors graduate of the
University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where she received a degree in mathematics. She is a student at UT-Knoxville, where she will graduate in May with a master’s degree in education.
She is employed by Mathnasium, Knoxville, and is an intern at Karns High School, Knoxville.
She is a granddaughter of George Granger, Johnson City, and the late Betty Granger; and Tenna Eades, Johnson City, and the late Clarence Eades.
Her fiancé is a 2006 graduate of Evangelical Christian School, Cordova, Tenn.; and is a 2010 graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where he received a degree in journalism and electronic media.
He is employed by the Chattanooga Times Free Press as a staff sports writer, covering football and basketball at UT.
He is a grandson of Joe and Joan Massey, Atoka, Tenn.; and the late Paul and Mary Brown.
The couple plan a private wedding for 4 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Central Baptist Church, Johnson City.
