Mr. and Mrs. Russell

Mr. and Mrs. William B. Russell, Johnson City, celebrated their 50th anniversary Friday, March 21, 2014, at The Greenbriar Resort, White Sulfur Springs, W.Va.; and with a reception and dance with family and friends at the Johnson City Country Club on April 5, 2014.
The couple were married on March 21, 1964, at Epworth Methodist Church, Norfolk, Va., by Dr. Owen Kelly and Rev. Reuben Blevins.
Mr. Russell, a native of Marion, Va., served in the United States Navy. He retired from Sears and Fingerhut as a general manager.
Mrs. Russell is the former Nancy Carolyn Davis of Norfolk. She is a homemaker and Mary Kay beauty consultant.
The couple are active members of Central Baptist Church and are active in the community.
The couple have two children, William Bryant Russell Jr. and wife Cynthia of Ashburn, Va., and Nancy Elizabeth Parker and husband Joey of Knoxville; and four grandchildren, Ella Kate Parker, David Alexsei Russell, Grayson Michael Parker and Lauren Michelle Russell.
