Announcement is made of the engagement of Lorrie Elaine Hale and Joshua Wayne Olinger.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Karen Hubbs Hale, Jonesborough; and Darrell and Kay Hale, Johnson City.
She is a 2006 cum laude graduate of Milligan College. She is employed by Blackburn, Childers & Steagall, PLC, as a small business coordinator.
She is a granddaughter of June Booker Hubbs, Knoxville, and the late James A. Hubbs; and the late Charles Pete and Lola Miller Hale.
Her fiancé is a son Wayne and Jennifer Olinger, Kingsport.
He is a 2001 graduate of Walters State Community College, and is a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and Tennessee Turfgrass Association. He is employed by The Crossings Golf Club as a superintendent.
He is a grandson of Anabell Kitzmiller, Blountville, and the late Charles “Buck” Kitzmiller; and the late Marshal and Rosie Olinger.
The couple plan an open-church wedding for 3:30 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Boones Creek Christian Church, Gray.
