Heather Lee Moody and Jason Ira Houchins were married Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at the Clendinons residence on Boone Lake.
The Rev. Michael Lester officiated the 6:30 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by Steve Bailey, vocalist.
The bride is a daughter of Judy Denny, Lakeview Drive, Johnson City; and Jim Moody, Destin, Fla.
She is a granddaughter of the late Sylvia Nicoletti; Magi Moody, Orlando, Fla., and the late James Moody; and O.H. and Margaret Eargle, Johnson City.
The groom is a son of Sandra Spears, Kingsport.
He is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira Houchins.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her brother, Wyatt Moody, the bride wore a trumpet-style gown of white sleek satin featuring ribbon detail embellishments, a halter-style bodice and a skirt that extended into a train.
Matron of honor was Judy Denny.
Flower girl was Alexa Wilson.
Ring bearer was Peyton Houchins.
Jay Bridwell served as best man.
Following a reception at Fanatics Sports Bar, the couple took a wedding trip to Las Vegas.
