Marcelle Christina Sibley and Jarred Michael Ian Goforth were married Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Central Baptist Church, Johnson City.
Dr. Ronald Murray officiated the 4 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by Sharon Rush, pianist; Melodye Sparks, organist; and Tim and Kim Barrett, violinists.
The bride is a daughter of Drs. David and Denise Sibley, 3509 Bondwood Circle, Johnson City.
She is a granddaughter of Dr. William L. Sibley III, Roanoke, Va.; the late Laurel “Suzie” Berg; and Joseph and Edna Swink, Salem, Va.
The groom is a son of Michael and Darlene Goforth, Arden, N.C.
He is a grandson of the late Phillip and Francis Goforth; and the late Troy and Bernice Rogers.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a Disney Princess “Snow White” wedding gown designed by Alfred Angelo.
Matron of honor was Bethany Cox Glenn.
Maid of honor was Noelle Sibley, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Kendra Beltman, Nicole Blastow, Shelley Clark and Mary Goforth, sister of the groom.
Flower girl was Moriah Payne, cousin of the bride.
Michael Goforth, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Charlie Brown, Bill Eaton, Steven Farlow, Nathan Guyton and Rahn Kelley. Following a reception at the Johnson City Country Club, the couple took a wedding trip to Disney World, Orlando, Fla.
The couple resides in Rock Hill, S.C.
