Heather Cheri Carter and Bradley Carroll Billheimer were married Friday, March 1, 2013, at Folly Beach, S.C.
The Rev. Robert Vickers officiated the sunset exchange of vows, followed by dinner at the Tides Hotel.
The bride is a daughter of Dr. Patricia Robertson, Asheville, N.C.; and Joel Carter, Wasilla, Alaska.
She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where she received a bachelor’s degree; and a graduate of East Tennessee State University, where she received her master’s degree in counseling. She is employed by Northwest Middle School, Winston-Salem, N.C., as a counselor.
The groom is a son of Carroll and Carol Billheimer, 120 Lakeview Drive, Unicoi.
He is a 1990 graduate of University High, Johnson City; a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree; and a graduate of ETSU, where he received his master’s degree in early childhood education. He is employed by Dent Wizard International as a manager.
He is a grandson of the late H.G. Billheimer; and the late Robert and Lucille Hughes.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a vintage-style gown of satin with a tulle overlay featuring a sweetheart neckline and waist embellishment and a tea-length skirt.
A reception was held Aug. 24, 2013, at the Plaza Renaissance Asheville Hotel, Asheville, N.C.
The couple reside in Winston-Salem, N.C.
