Mr. and Mrs. Seaf Norton, Limestone, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at a barbecue hosted by their children from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bowmantown Ruritan.
The couple were married on Aug. 17, 1963.
Mr. Norton is a semi-retired truck driver and farmer.
Mrs. Norton is the former Linda Kaye Collins. She is a homemaker.
The couple have seven children, Seaf Norton Jr. and wife Diana, Angela Norton Church and husband Anthony, Scottie Norton and wife Renae, Steven “Doc” Norton and wife Jennifer, and Amanda Norton, all of Washington County; and Adriena Hux and husband Jake, and Sabrina Norton Shipley and husband Johnnie, of Greene County.
They have 15 grandchildren and five special grandchildren, Brenton Norton, Bradley “Doodle” Norton, Alicia Dunn, Akeshia Church, Caleb Church, David Norton, Daniel Norton, Caleigh Norton, Eathon Norton, Maelynn Hux, Seth Shelton, Jordan Cutshall, Cheyenne Copas, Brycen Roseberry, Mason Lee Norton, Makaylen Cutshall, David McCurry, Bethany McCurry, Aston McCurry and Colt McCurry; and four great-grandchildren, Jenna Morrow, Jonathan Morrow, Mason Dunn and Lyla Kay Norton.
The celebration is open to family and friends.
