Chelsea Ryan Myers and Aaron Michael Woodacre were married Saturday, June 29, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, downtown Johnson City.
The Rev. Dr. Denver Bitner, Rockford, Ill., officiated the 6 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by vocalist Whitney Myers, sister of the bride; and Jane LaPella, pianist/organist.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Myers, Greeneville.
She is a granddaughter of Marion Myers, Roanoke, Va., the late Rev. J. Weldon Myers; and Jean Greene, Greeneville, and the late Frank Greene.
The groom is a son of John Morgan Woodacre, Johnson City; and Pattie Woodacre, Piney Flats.
He is a grandson of the late John E. Woodacre and Lorri Woodacre, Wellesley, Mass.; the late Barbara Cantwell; the late John Judy; and Betty Judy, Gray.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a couture ivory gown featuring a dynamic fit and flare silhouette and strapless sweetheart neckline, covered with delicate lace appliqué, embroidery and encrusted with Swarovski crystals.
Matron of honor was Emily Roberts.
Maid of honor was Whitney Myers, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Khristen Dial, Megan Smith and Tabitha Wooten.
Morgan Woodacre, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Ryan Woodacre, brother of the groom; Andy Judy, cousin of the groom; Taylor Fleenor, cousin of the groom; and Ryne Heaton.
Ushers were James Cody Powell, Josh Padgett and Austin Reppart.
Bride’s book attendants were Sara Hyatt and Laura Cusick.
A reception was held at the Johnson City Country Club.
