Amanda Carol Bailey and Jarrod Michael Johnson were married Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Cornerstone Church.
County Commission Chairman Greg Matherly officiated the 7 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by Keith Sammons, vocalist.
The bride is a daughter of Jack and Kathie Matherly, 2400 Roxford Drive, Johnson City.
She is a granddaughter of the late Herman and Mary Matherly; and the late Dewey and Agnes DeBord Stokes.
The groom is a son of Dean and Connie Johnson, 101 Johnson Drive, Piney Flats.
He is a grandson of Julia Johnson, Piney Flats, and the late Charles Johnson; and Ken and Pat Henley, Bristol, Va.
Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her daughters, Kenzie, Katie and Kami, the bride wore a strapless gown featuring a ruched bodice adorned with seed pearls and sequins and a skirt that extended into a chapel-length train.
Maid of honor was Aubrey Rabon. Bridesmaids were Courtney Johnson, sister of the groom; DeShay Brian and Chelsy Nickles. Junior bridesmaid was Rachel Arney, neice of the bride.
Dean Johnson, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Richard Arney, brother of the bride, and Ryne Price.
Bride’s book attendant was Shauna Pate.
Following a reception at the church, the couple took a wedding trip to Mountain Harbor Resort.
