Melissa Ann Egley and Craig Van Bennett were married Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Maple Grove Inn, Knoxville.
Minister Aaron Morris, brother-in-law of the groom, officiated the 6 p.m. exchange of vows.
The bride is a daughter of David and Annett Egley, 1800 Knoll Top Court, Knoxville.
She is a granddaughter of the late Ed and Juanita Egley; and Dora Mae Heric, Phoenix, Ariz., and the late William Heric.
The groom is a son of Jimmy and Sandra Bennett, 119 Laurel Canyon, Johnson City.
He is a grandson of Gladys K. Jenkins, Johnson City; the late Albert Dudley Wright; and the late Bernie and Mabel Bennett.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white strapless gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and a skirt with a tiered bottom.
Matron of honor was Michelle Evans.
Bridesmaids were Lisa Branch, Kelly Flanigan and Tara Egley, sister of the bride.
Flower girl was Audrey Morris, niece of the groom.
Ring bearer was Cash Egley, nephew of the bride.
Steve Mascola served as best man.
Groomsmen were Wes Grindstaff, Casey Medders and Jeremy Crawford.
Following a reception at Maple Grove Inn, the couple took a wedding trip to Puerto Rico.
