Kristen Denise Guinn and Daniel Abe Grindstaff were married Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Borderview Christian Church, Elizabethton.
Minister Kirk Langston officiated the 2 p.m. exchange of vows.
The bride is a daughter of Patricia A. Guinn, Johnson City; and the late Burl H. Guinn.
She is a granddaughter of the late Alfred and Etta Grindstaff; the late Lester Guinn; and the late Helma Guinn.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Grindstaff, Elizabethton; and Linda Honeycutt, Elizabethton.
He is a grandson of Anita Bullock, Elizabethton; the late Hubert Grindstaff; and the late Floyd and Ludella Honeycutt.
Given in marriage by her mother and her uncle and escorted by her uncle, Dean Grindstaff, the bride wore a strapless mermaid style gown of radiant ivory taffeta featuring a sweetheart neckline, embroidery accents that cascaded across the bodice and around to the corset-tie back, as well as gentle ruching.
Matron of honor was Karrine Roberts.
Maid of honor was Aleshia Watson.
Bridesmaids were Rachel Bowman, Lacey Morton and Amy Ensor.
Derek Deakins served as best man.
Groomsmen were Jody Combs, Tyler Shaw, Dustin Morton and Zachary Ensor.
Bride’s book attendants were Bryana Grindstaff and Rachel Wagner
A reception was held at The Carnegie Hotel, Johnson City.
