Taylor Lane Cooter and Jonathan Robert Leichliter were married Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Poland Whittemore officiated the 2 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by John Bunn, vocalist and pianist; and Rene Huntsinger, vocalist.
The bride is a daughter of Claudia Lane and Michael Cooter.
She is a granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Harold Lane; Betty Lou Day; and the late Doyle Cooter.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Leichliter.
He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Raver; the late Mary-Jane Daniels-Leichliter; and the late Ronald Saxton.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero bridal gown of diamond white whisper chiffon featuring beaded embellishments of Swarovski crystals, beaded straps on a strapless yoke, a folded chiffon empire fitted waistline and a soft A-line skirt that cascaded into a full chapel-length train.
Matron of honor was Haley Gregory.
Maid of honor was Emily Griffith.
Bridesmaids were Britney Langley, Annie Tull, Andrea Ottinger and Hannah Buckles.
Flower girl was Kaylee Hollifield.
Ring bearers were Harrison and Cole Pritchett.
Chris Carter served as best man.
Groomsmen were Ben Leichliter, Blake Silcox, Matt Cole, Josh Barrett and Chris Blevins.
Ushers were Justin Cooter, Brody Thomas, Michael Buckles and Chris Buckles.
Following a reception at the Johnson City Country Club, the couple took a wedding trip.
