ELIZABETHTON — Carrie Dale Culver and William Gregory Coleman were married Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at First Baptist Church.
Dr. James L. Street officiated the 5 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by David Arney, organist.
The bride is a daughter of Richard and Becky Culver, 743 Fairway Drive, Elizabethton.
She is a granddaughter of the late Joseph and Mary Vaught; and the late Carl and Maude Culver.
The groom is a son of Col. Robert and Cheryl Coleman, 688 Ternberry Forest Drive, The Villages, Fla.
He is a grandson of Lt. Col. Everett G. Walker, Pensacola, Fla.; the late Jane L. Walker; the late Col. Robert G. Coleman and Dorothy S. Coleman.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless gown of ivory chiffon featuring a beaded empire waist.
Matrons of honor were Ashley Birchfield Blevins and Amber Street Wilkinson.
Bridesmaids were Marla Mills Mazzarella, Meg Mills Michaud and Linda Mattson Myers.
Junior bridesmaid was McCall Coleman.
Flower girl was Bella Wilkinson.
Ring bearer was Andrew Blevins.
Rob Coleman served as best man.
Groomsmen were Lt. Col. Nathan Gray, Burt Hayes, Mark Manning, Michael O’Neal and Mark Snider.
Junior groomsman was Landry Coleman.
Ushers were Matt Culver and Drew Culver.
Bride’s book attendant was Lindsay Robbins.
Program attendants were Ella and Lucy Maupin.
Following a reception at the Carnegie Hotel, Johnson City, the couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
