Morgan Elizabeth Hood and Daniel Paul Armentrout were married Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the East Tennessee State University Amphitheater.
The Rev. Curtis Hurt officiated the 2 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by Lyndsi McCurry, vocalist.
The bride is a daughter of Jody and Sheila Hood, 102 Lee Drive, Gray.
She is a granddaughter of Lynn and Mary Singleton, Knoxville; and Sam and Linda Hood, Knoxville.
The groom is a son of Opie K. Armentrout Jr. and Denise Armentrout, 122 Armentrout Lane, Jonesborough.
He is a grandson of William Paul “Jake” and Sarah Gilliam, Gate City, Va.; and the late Opie K. Armentrout Sr. and Marjorie Armentrout.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a one-shoulder Maggie Sottero gown of satin featuring a fitted bodice and beaded embellishments.
Matron of honor was Lyndsi McCurry, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Heather Armentrout, Molly Wilson, Kayla Simpson, Chelsea Matheson and Lauren Adams.
Flower girl was Gracie Gilliam.
Ring bearers were Jackson and Deegan McCurry.
Joshua Armentrout, twin brother of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Jeremy Hood, Nick Jones, Israel McCurry, Cameron Shelton and Hudson Pereira.
Ushers were Nick Flynn, Nick Anand, Thomas McLaren, Matt Wilson and Mark Hoffman.
Following a reception at the ETSU D.P. Culp Center Ballroom, the couple took a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
