GATLINBURG — Jenni Lee Painter and James Michael Cain Jr. were married Friday, July 29, 2011, at The Covered Bridge, Greenbriar National Park.
Carroll Dewayne Welch, minister, officiated the 7 p.m. exchange of vows.
The bride is a daughter of Candy Painter Menod, Gray; and the late Arthur L. Painter.
She is a granddaughter of the late Earl O. and Thelma McCourry Painter; the late M.L. Overfield; and the late Novella Hurst Overfield.
The groom is a son of James M. Cain Sr., Fall Branch; and Virinda Jo Cole, Jonesborough.
He is a grandson of Robert E. Cain, Fall Branch; the late Margie M. Cain; Buelah M. Copas, Jonesborough, and the late Bobby Joe Copas.
Given in marriage by her family, the bride wore a chiffon gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and a beaded empire waist.
