CHURCH HILL — Danielle Marie Erickson and Daniel Benjamin Thornburg were married Saturday, May 21, 2011, at New Canton Plantation.
Father Patrick Bone officiated the 6 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by Sophisticated Strings.
The bride is the daughter of Donna Erickson, Gray; and the late Raymond Erickson Jr.
She is the granddaughter of the late Roland and Janet Aisthorpe; and the late Raymond and Lila Erickson Sr.
The groom is the son of Jeff and Brenda Thornburg, Fall Branch.
He is a grandson of Lola Owens, Fall Branch; the late Benjamin Jones Jr.; Pauline Thornburg, Greeneville; and the late Maynard Thornburg.
Given in marriage by her mother and brothers and escorted by her godfather, James Gaudet, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero couturier silk gown embellished with Swarovski crystals and lace, featuring a skirt that extended into a cathedral-length train.
Matron of honor was Kristi Chaput. Maid of honor was Allison Wallace.
Bridesmaids were Andrea Sweeney and Anna Huffman. Junior bridesmaid was Makenna Chaput
Josh Huffman served as best man.
Groomsmen were Ken Erickson, Steven Erickson and Michael Erickson.
Bride’s book and program attendants were Lynn Bertsch, Marie Lamp, Jean Gaudet and Amanda Phillips.
Following a reception at New Canton Plantation, the couple took a wedding trip to Disney World.
