PALMYRA — Jessica Lauren Forsythe and David Christopher Henley were married Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Henley Farm.
The Rev. Paul Gardner officiated the 5 p.m. exchange of vows.
The bride is a daughter of Frank and Cary Forsythe of Erwin.
She is a granddaughter of the late Jerry and Evelyn Forsythe; Frances Usher of Henderson, N.C.; and the late Archie Usher.
The groom is a son of Brian and Elisabeth Henley, Palmyra.
He is a grandson of Jean Henley of Hughson, Calif.; the late David Henley; and Henry and Jacoba VanderStoel of Sunnyside, W.Va.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an A-line gown of white chiffon featuring a side-draped bodice, beaded lace, a lace-up back and a skirt that extended into a sweep train.
Maid of honor was Amanda Forsythe, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Katie Usher and Rachel Henley, sister of the groom.
Flower girls were Clara and Audrey Schlotfeldts.
Simon Henley, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Carl Wigington and Jimmy Fisher.
Following a reception at Henley Farm, the couple took a wedding trip to Folly Beach, Charleston, S.C.
