Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Bales , Kingsport, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Marie, to Brandon James Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Harris of Gray.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Sullivan Central High School, attended Northeast State Community College and is a student at East Tennessee State University. She is employed by Indian Path Hospital.
She is a granddaughter of Gladys Roberts of Kingsport; the late George Roberts; and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bales of Bristol.
Her fiancé is a 2003 graduate of Daniel Boone High School; a 2007 graduate of Northeast State Community College where he received an associate degree in business management; and 2009 graduate of East Tennessee State University, where he received a degree in engineering technology. He is employed by the Johnson City Power Board.
He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James “Huck” Cowan of Gray; the late James E. Kitzmiller; and the late Mr. and Mrs. James L. Harris. He is a great-grandson of Easter Greer of Gray and the late Dexter Greer Sr.
The couple plan a private wedding for 5 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Rock Heritage Baptist Church.
