Wendy Anne Grossman and Jon Gideon Kantor were married Sunday, June 5, 2011, on the beach in front of Matisse in Belmar, N.J.
Rabbi Steven Suson of Temple Emanu-el in Closter, N.J.. officiated the 11 a.m. exchange of vows.
The bride is a daughter of Dr. Joshua and “Mickey” Grossman, 1830 Waters Edge Drive, Johnson City, Tenn.
She is a granddaughter of the late Aaron and Lee Schandler and the late Dr. Isadore and Esther Grossman.
The groom is a son of Stanley and Eva Kantor, Morristown, N.J., and the late Leslie Kantor.
He is a grandson of the late Norman and Lillian Golden and the late Robert and Mickey Kantor.
The bride wore a strapless Vera Wang A-line gown of ivory duchess satin. She wore her great-grandmother’s earrings that her mother wore on her wedding day.
Flower girls were Mika and Maiyumi Marcus-Kanesaka, the groom’s nieces.
Ring bearers were Isaac and Joseph Grossman and Karl Grossman.
Following a cocktail hour and dinner reception at Matisse, the couple took a wedding trip to Ambergris Caye, San Pedro, Belize.
The couple will reside in Arlington, Va.
