An early morning wreck on Interstate 26 sent two people to the hospital with injuries Monday, and spurred three additional crashes.
The first occurred at 4:51 a.m. near mile marker 7. Kingsport police report a westbound 1998 Honda CRV ran off the left side of the road and struck a cable barrier in the median. It then rolled and came to rest in the westbound lanes of I-26.
