Dandridge Republican hoping to replace Faulk in state Senate

Jefferson County’s Hobart L. Rice has qualified to run for Tennessee’s renumbered 8th Senatorial District seat in the Republican primary.

The seat is currently held by state Sen. Mike Faulk, R-Church Hill, who decided not to seek re-election.
