SAVANNAH — The Hardin County School board has reversed a decision to suspend its school superintendent, who is charged with having a gun on school grounds.
The Jackson Sun (http://bit.ly/HRTMfz ) reported board members voted 8-2 Monday night to rescind an earlier suspension of Superintendent John Thomas.
Thomas is scheduled to appear in Hardin County Circuit Court on May 8. He was indicted March 19 after a grand jury heard allegations that he carried a handgun into a middle school.
