Former employee accused of stealing from West Market business

Johnson City police arrested a 38-year-old woman Thursday on charges she stole money from a loan and taxes business.
Stephanie L. Turner, 1212 Shelby Ave., No. 1, was charged with four counts of forgery under $500 and theft of property over $500.
Police said Turner, a former employee of Service Loan & Taxes, 1703 W. Market St., was accused of stealing money from the business.
She was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $9,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Monday.
