Chinese coming to city schools: Language to be taught at North Side, Liberty Bell

Exposure to foreign languages can help students become more well-rounded, especially when that exposure comes at an early age.
“They are most susceptible to gaining new experiences and speak new languages at that early age. It’s easier to learn new things early on,” North Side Elementary Principal Sharon Pickering said.
