KNOXVILLE — Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney will visit Knoxville on Sunday afternoon, a sign his campaign feels Tennessee is winnable on Super Tuesday two days later, supporters said today.
"I think it makes a difference," said Susan Richardson Williams, a long-time GOP activist.
She said it's nice to have surrogates like former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty come — he'll be part of a rally this afternoon in Farragut — but the candidate himself visiting makes a difference.
