SURGOINSVILLE — Hawkins County narcotics detectives allegedly seized Suboxone films, cash and cell phone records during a traffic stop Thursday that resulted in two people being charged with drug trafficking.

The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and Narcotics Unit were conducting narcotics enforcement Thursday on Route 346 in the Surgoinsville area of Hawkins County when a 1996 Honda was stopped for suspicion of DUI.

Narcotics detectives reportedly recognized the driver, Kayla Rena Sattler, 21, 426 Hill Ave., Surgoinsville, and the passenger, Brian Daniel Wilder, 23, 130 Reeves Road, Rogersville, as being suspects in previous narcotics investigations.
