A Bluff City teenager who told officers he had been smoking synthetic marijuana was arrested on several charges early Tuesday morning after he attempted to enter a Johnson City night spot without identification, police said in a report.
Police went to 149 S. Broadway St. about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a suspicious person and found Augustus Johnson, 19, 279 Summit Drive, Bluff City, in a vehicle, police said.
Johnson told police he had been smoking K2 and had been trying to get into Fuzzy Holes, 1408 E. Main St., without an ID.
Police ran a background check and found that Johnson's driver's license had been revoked.
In searching his vehicle, police found two containers of Happy Hour K2, a metal bowl packed with K2, a glass tube containing a "blunt," rolling papers and a plastic container with eight morphine pills, police said in the report.
Johnson was charged with schedule II drug violations, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, driving on a revoked license and violating the financial responsibility law.
