Johnson City man charged with stealing neighbor's jewelry in burglary

Johnson City police arrested a Montgomery Street man Monday on charges that he burglarized a house on his own block.
Paul John Reagan, 39, 1005 Montgomery St., was charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.
Police said Reagan stole jewelry from 1012 Montgomery St. and sold it at a gold store in Kingsport.
He remained jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond following arraignment Tuesday in Sessions Court. A preliminary hearing was set for Feb. 9.
