DYERSBURG (AP) — Police in West Tennessee say they have found a decomposed body near the home of a woman who has been missing for more than a month.
The remains were found Saturday in Dyer County near the home of Karen Swift, a mother of four who hasn't been seen since late October, according to a WMC-TV report (http://bit.ly/rQ2vbc).
The body was sent to the Regional Forensic Center in Memphis for an autopsy and positive identification.
Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box told the station that the identity of the body would not be released before Monday.
