Wellmont Health System recently earned six awards in the Tennessee Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations’ annual Prism awards competition. Wellmont received four Prism awards and two Citation of Excellence awards.
The health system’s hand hygiene campaign, geared toward co-workers, earned a Prism award in the internal public relations program category. Wellmont also took home Prism awards for its flu vaccination commercials in the television paid advertising series category; the system’s intranet, called The Wellmont News, in the website category; and the Healing Environment newsletter in the writing category.
Wellmont received Citation of Excellence for its participation in the public service program Go Red for Women and its website devoted to quality at the Wellmont CVA Heart Institute.
Hospitals and health care systems across Tennessee entered this year’s competition. The health system’s in-house marketing communications department developed all of Wellmont’s winning entries.
