Tools reported stolen from Elizabethton cemetery

ELIZABETHTON — Several tools were stolen from a cemetery over the weekend.
James Gatewood, grounds supervisor for Rose Lawn Memorial Park, 3233 S. Roan St., Johnson City told Deputy Dave Ryan that someone had broken into the tool shed at the cemetery, broke the locks and took the tools.
The tools included a soil tamper, valued at $2,000; a Stihl leaf blower, valued at $500; a Stihl trimmer, valued at $325; a Hitachi drill, valued at $500; and a pair of bolt cutters, valued at $50.
