Insight Alliance is hosting a technology event called “Technically Speaking” at Summit Leadership on Nov. 18 with check-in beginning at 8 a.m.
This workshop, geared toward nonprofit organizations and small businesses, is designed to walk participants step by step through the technological side of the business world. The event will assist in creating or enhancing social media skills, networking skills and most aspects of computer technology. The workshop is for people with all skill levels in dealing with technology.
The event also includes “Lunch with a Geek,” which allows participants their choice of a table and topic, during which groups will spend their meal asking questions of an “expert geek.”
Local entrepreneur Jose Castillo, of Think Jose and Spark Plaza, will begin the day with an introduction and the event will also feature local business professionals such as Ted Bradford II, with Stableconvergence, who will present on topics such as “Computer Talk.” Portions of the workshops will be hands-on, and there will be tech support on-site, so participants are encouraged to bring their laptops. Those interested in attending or want more information about the event should visit or call Insight Alliance at 877-366-7593.
