Jonesborough police recently raided a Parsons Circle residence and found stolen property and drugs, resulting in the arrests of a woman and a juvenile, Chief Matthew Hawkins announced Thursday.
Concluding a burglary and theft investigation, police went to 129 Parsons Circle on Tuesday to execute a search warrant. Police found an estimated $6,200 in stolen property as well as schedule III and schedule IV drugs, Hawkins said in a news release.
A boy was charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of theft over $1,000 and one count of felony vandalism. He was jailed in the Upper East Tennessee Regional Juvenile Detention Center pending a Washington County Juvenile Court appearance.
Phyllis L. Reed was charged with possession of schedule III drugs, possession of schedule IV drugs and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Reed was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center and released on $5,000 bond.
