KINGSPORT — A Kingsport woman arrested Friday — after she and her boyfriend reportedly burglarized a booth at Traders Village flea market — was jailed again Wednesday, this time for auto burglary and fraud.

Tabatha A. Drake, 20, of 504 Alcoa Drive, is currently held in the Sullivan County jail. Her arrest was spurred by an auto burglary at the Kingsport Town Center, followed by an attempt to purchase nearly $2,000 in merchandise with a stolen credit card.

A Kingsport Police report states the victim reported the incident on Sept. 18. His wallet was stolen from his vehicle, with a credit card inside used twice at a gas station and twice at the West Stone Drive Walmart.

The four purchases totaled $168.88. Police report the suspect also attempted to use the card to buy $1,952.39 worth of merchandise inside the store, but the transaction was denied.
