A traffic stop on Interstate 26 led Johnson City police Tuesday to arrest a woman wanted in Kentucky on a cocaine charge.
About 9:45 a.m., police stopped Brandy N. Allen, 30, 6125 Kingsport Hwy., Apt 12, Gray, for a traffic violation, according to a news release. A computer check revealed she had a felony warrant from Kentucky for distribution of cocaine.
Allen was charged with being a fugitive from justice.
She was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Wednesday.
