Guns, electronics reported stolen from home

WATAUGA — A burglar broke into a home over the weekend and stole guns and electronic equipment with a total value of more than $2,000, police said.
Ryan Garland told Deputy Tim Matthews that his family had gone to Roan Mountain on Saturday. When they returned to their 5th Avenue home on Sunday morning they discovered the burglary.
The stolen items included an AR-15 rifle, valued at $800; an Asus laptop computer, valued at $600; a Smith and Wesson .22 caliber revolver, valued at $300; a Playstation 3 game console, valued at $300; and two Playstation 3 games.
