The 2011 Tri-Cities Quality Forum will be held Oct. 11 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Toy F. Reid Eastman Employee Center in Kingsport. The public is invited and registration is free.
The conference features keynotes from both the 2010 Baldrige-winning company K&N Management and the 2010 Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence Level 4 Excellence Award winner CIGNA Government Service.
Attendees will hear from the top executives in both companies about their results and processes, specifically how K&N retains its status as having one the busiest restaurants in the state of Texas and how CIGNA Government Services has achieved their success.
There will also be educational sessions on hiring/engaging Generation Y; brand building; improvement processes to accelerate business excellence; visualizing; organizing data using graphs and tables; designing errors out of your processes, and how to statistically determine if your process has improved.
